Job summary

Veeco Instruments Inc. is seeking an ambitious Field Service Engineer to learn Veeco's technology and drive customer satisfaction through hands-on support. The role covers installation, calibration, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and Veeco Wet Processing equipment across North America.

You will build strong customer relationships, report field activity, and adhere to safety policies while traveling up to 85% of the time with occasional international travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical area required.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Military training and experience welcome.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, upgrade, testing, warranty, and repair of equipment following safety and security protocols.
• Isolate and resolve equipment and systems malfunctions and take corrective action.
• Assist with new processes, methods, and designs implementation.
• Develop relationships with customers to ensure high satisfaction and retention.
• Serve as onsite contact for activities and support related to equipment and field aspects.
