Veeco Instruments Inc. seeks an ambitious Field Service Engineer to install, calibrate, and maintain Veeco’s Wet Processing equipment. The role is based in North Dallas, Texas, with up to 85% travel across North America and some international travel.

Responsibilities include installation, troubleshooting, and customer-facing support, ensuring safety and adherence to Veeco protocols. A Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field and 2+ years’ experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical area.
• Minimum 2 years of related experience; military training welcome.
• Willingness to travel up to 85% in North America.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and teams.

Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, test, warranty, and repair Veeco equipment per safety protocols.
• Isolate and resolve equipment malfunctions and take corrective action.
• Support implementation of new processes and designs.
• Build strong customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Serve as onsite contact for activities and provide technical field support.
• Document tool actions and field activities in service reports.
• Adhere to safety and confidentiality policies.
