Job summary

Boston Dynamics is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support our North American customers with on-site service for warehouse robotics and automation solutions. You will perform repairs, installations, site integrations, and routine maintenance while collaborating with Sales, Engineering, and Service Operations to deliver rapid, effective technical support.

The role requires independence, strong attention to detail, and a high travel tolerance, up to 80%.

Qualifications

Experience delivering high quality, highly reliable field service.
Experience with highly specialized and complex platform technology.
Customer management and communication skills in a customer support environment.
Track record of achieving successful support outcomes tracking metrics such as issue resolution time and customer satisfaction.
Prior experience performing repairs/maintenance on mechanical equipment.
Experience using power tools and specialized equipment.
Field technicians with experience in other industries are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Perform emergency repairs, installations, site integrations, routine maintenance, and general technical service and support for western regional customers.
Collaborate across Sales, Engineering, and Service Operations to drive technical solutions and resolve customer issues quickly and efficiently.
Ensure world-class support outcomes - CSAT, issue resolution time, and first-time-fix metrics.
Document and complete service administration activities promptly in our CRM.
