PerkinElmer is seeking a Field Service Engineer to perform client-site servicing, installation, and repair of Delta or Perten instruments across the OH, KY, MI, PA, and IN regions. The role offers field travel up to 80% with remote work arrangements and company-provided vehicle.

You’ll diagnose and resolve mechanical, hardware, software, and systems failures, generate reports, and coordinate with specialists for training and network integration.

Competenze

• Technical degree or equivalent work history.
• Travel about 80% including overnights; weekends usually not included.
• GMP and Plant Safety Protocols knowledge.
• Strong interpersonal skills and customer-focused teamwork.
• Licensed driver with ability to operate a PC to enter data and generate reports.
• Ability to read technical bulletins and service manuals; work safely around hazards.
• Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally.

Mansioni

• Perform client-site servicing, repair and installation of company products.
• Provide technical support to customers on operation and maintenance.
• Diagnose mechanical, hardware, software, and systems failures.
• Coordinate with Service Coordinator on scheduling and prerequisites.
• Prepare reports analyzing product failure trends and service issues.
• Complete preventive maintenance for Delta or Perten equipment in region.
• Coordinate installations with Springfield, IL office and obtain training.
• Assist with application support on all equipment.
• Communicate clearly with peers, managers, and customers.
