Job summary

PerkinElmer is seeking a Field Service Engineer to perform client-site servicing, repair, and installation of Delta or Perten Instruments. The role involves travel within OH, KY, MI, PA, and IN, with most clients near OH. A company-provided car is available for work and personal use.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the Service Coordinator for scheduling, completing installations and calibrations, and assisting with application support. Travel approx.

Qualifications

Technical degree or equivalent work history.
Travel ~80% including overnights.
Knowledge of GMP and Plant Safety Protocols.
Strong interpersonal skills, team player with customer satisfaction focus.
Ability to operate a PC to enter data and generate reports, communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

Perform client-site servicing, repair and installation of company product(s).
Provide technical support on operational or maintenance aspects of system equipment.
Diagnose mechanical, hardware, software and system failures using established procedures.
Coordinate with Service Coordinator to schedule work and confirm prerequisites.
Coordinate with Specialists for training, site surveys, and instrument calibration/qualification.
Ensure effective communication with customers and peers.
