General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Field Engineer to support a Border Patrol surveillance system deployed along the Southern border. The role involves outdoor fieldwork, time management, teamwork, and hands-on learning of new technologies.

The candidate must be able to travel daily to customer sites and lift up to 35 pounds. Remote work is allowed within a 2.5-hour drive of Campo, CA, with company vehicle provided.

Formación

• 2+ years of related experience required.
• US Citizenship is required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsabilidades

• Provide on-site troubleshooting, diagnosis, and resolution of technical issues for our equipment and systems.
• Conduct root-cause analysis on hardware, software, and network issues to restore functionality.
• Promote and provide GDIT products or services in government locations and maximize customer satisfaction.
• Install, configure, and test equipment and systems according to client specifications and GDIT guidelines.
