Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Field Engineer to support a Border Patrol surveillance system deployed along the Southern U.S. border.

The role involves on-site troubleshooting, installation, and maintenance, with a strong emphasis on teamwork, adaptability, and customer satisfaction. Must have 2+ years of related experience, US citizenship, a valid driver's license, and the ability to obtain a Public Trust BI.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Security Clearance Level: must be able to obtain a Public Trust BI.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site troubleshooting, diagnosis, and resolution of technical issues for our equipment and systems.
• Conduct root-cause analysis on hardware, software, and network issues to restore functionality.
• Promote and provide GDIT products or services in government customer locations.
• Maximize customer satisfaction by resolving issues promptly and effectively.
• Install, configure, and test equipment and systems according to client specifications and GDIT guidelines.
• Perform routine maintenance and preventative care to optimize equipment performance.
