Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a Field Service Engineer to travel across North America, supporting gas and steam turbines, generators, and related systems. You will be the technical face for outages, leading activities from maintenance to modernization at customer sites.

In this program you’ll receive extensive hands-on training in Orlando, FL and Houston, TX, work with experienced engineers, and develop leadership and project-management skills while ensuring safety and reliability of critical energy

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent military/industrial experience with diploma.
3+ years in field service, outages, maintenance, commissioning or power generation.
Experience working around rotating equipment and strong mechanical troubleshooting.
Excellent customer-facing communication and ability to travel across North America.

Responsibilities

Supervise technicians during power plant maintenance shutdowns and outages.
Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble turbines and generators for reliability.
Collaborate with global engineering for testing and timely repairs during outages.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and perform inspections and tests.
Support commissioning, startup, and modernization projects while adhering to safety standards.
