Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking Field Service Engineer trainees in the United States. The role involves extensive travel to power plants across North America, supervising technicians during maintenance shutdowns and assisting in turbine/generator disassembly and reassembly.

Training will be conducted in Orlando, FL and Houston, TX, with eventual responsibilities including coordinating upgrades, performing niche testing, and serving as the main customer contact during outages.

Qualifications

• Open to travel and extended deployments (2–15 weeks).
• Ability to lead technicians and coordinate field work.
• Strong mechanical and electrical testing aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Supervise technicians during power plant maintenance shutdowns.
• Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble turbines and generators.
• Coordinate upgrades to mechanical and electrical systems for improved output.
• Serve as primary customer contact during outages and travel to sites.
• Develop expertise in power generation systems and field practices.
