Job summary

BD Parata in Frederick, MD is seeking a Field Support Engineer to provide on-site technical service for pharmacy automation equipment, diagnose complex electromechanical systems, and ensure maximum uptime across the territory.

You will travel regularly, install and maintain systems, train customers on operation, document service activities in Salesforce Field Service Lightning, and collaborate with regional teams to resolve issues and improve product performance.

Qualifications

3+ years of field service or related technical experience.
Strong troubleshooting of electromechanical, electrical, and networked systems.
Experience with Windows and Office applications; working knowledge of networking fundamentals.

Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional customer service and technical support at customer locations.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain pharmacy automation equipment, software, and network-connected systems.
Perform preventive maintenance to maximize system performance and uptime.
Train customers on equipment operation and routine maintenance procedures.
Document service activities, findings, and resolutions in Salesforce Field Service Lightning.
Travel throughout the assigned territory, including overnight travel as needed.
Support installation and implementation for new automation systems as required.
Collaborate with regional and national service teams to resolve complex issues.
