Job summary

Hyve Solutions, a US-based manufacturing partner, seeks an IT Support Specialist to provide on-site user support for hardware, software, and network access across office and production areas.

The role involves managing user accounts, basic server tasks, and coordinating with corporate IT to ensure security and policy alignment. You will support workstations, printers, scanners, and production floor terminals on a full-time basis.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of IT support or related technical experience.
• Experience in manufacturing or mixed office/production env preferred.
• Proficient in Windows OS and Active Directory.
• Familiar with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite user support for hardware, software, network access, and IT issues.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
• Perform basic server support, monitoring, patch coordination, escalation to corporate IT when needed.
• Support production-floor terminals and peripheral devices.
• Document issues and changes to support continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with corporate IT for security standards and system configurations.
