Job summary

Hyve Solutions is seeking an IT Helpdesk professional to support internal and external users, secure devices and networks, and maintain IT infrastructure. The role involves imaging PCs, deploying systems, and providing responsive end-user assistance.

You will collaborate with system and network teams, handle tickets, and keep hardware inventory up to date. The position requires strong communication and hands-on problem solving in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-8+ years of experience in a similar role.
• High School Diploma or equivalent experience or A+ Certification.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• In-depth knowledge of PC components.
• Ability to dismantle and re-assemble laptops and desktops.
• Knowledge of Computer Networks and TCP/IP is a plus.
• Knowledge of Active Directory is a plus.
• Experience in a fast-paced hands-on team environment with moderately complex tasks.
• Must be able to lift equipment up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform PC system imaging, deployment, OS installation, and repair.
• Process helpdesk tickets and provide end-user support.
• Troubleshoot software and hardware failures and identify network problems related to desktop, laptop, printer, and IoT devices.
• Collaborate with System and Network Administrators to support projects including software updates, system upgrades, and infrastructure enhancements.
• Manage and maintain inventory of desktop and laptop computers, peripherals, and related hardware components.
