Job summary

Desoutter, a brand within Atlas Copco Group, seeks a Field Service Engineer to support customers onsite in Memphis, TN or Olive Branch, MS. You will install, configure, and troubleshoot advanced tool systems, then train customers and internal teams to ensure reliable operation.

The role involves travel across the U.S. and Canada with occasional trips to Mexico, performing preventive maintenance and documenting work in company systems.

Qualifications

• STEM degree or equivalent experience in technical/manufacturing/software field.
• 5+ years of experience implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting software and mechanical solutions in manufacturing.
• Strong technical skills configuring low-code applications and implementing Pivotware, DeMeter, Nexonar, ARG, and tightening/calibration systems.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with diagnostics and knowledge bases to resolve issues.
• Outstanding communication and customer service skills to train customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure key solutions including Pivotware, DeMeter, Nexonar, ARG, and tightening/calibration systems.
• Troubleshoot and perform corrective actions across supported hardware and software systems.
• Deliver training to customers and internal stakeholders for effective adoption.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and repairs on tools and equipment.
• Document daily work using company systems following safety and quality standards.
