Job summary

Atlas Copco Tools & Assembly Systems LLC seeks a Field Service Technician to provide on-site technical support across the East region, preferably residing in North Carolina. The role involves installations, calibrations, maintenance, and repairs with minimal supervision.

You will travel to customer sites, perform troubleshooting, document costs, and share knowledge across teams while upholding Atlas Copco best practices. Strong communication and a customer-first mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 2–3 years of experience with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Ability to travel up to 60% locally and 40% nationally – regionally dependent.
• Valid US Driver’s License is required.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 60 lbs.
• Customer service excellence and ability to communicate across all levels of an organization.
• Ability to work independently, and as part of a team.
• IT, MS Office products, and networking or wireless communication proficiency.
• Interest in furthering knowledge of industrial tooling.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with customers and assist with issues.
• Create detailed reports and capture costs through administrative work.
• Perform hands-on troubleshooting, programming, and repairs.
• Reinforce best practices of Atlas Copco equipment.
• Travel to customer sites for field repair and support.
• Coordinate travel schedules and accommodations to visit sites.
• Interface with customers and internal teams within region.
