Job summary

Atlas Copco Rental LLC is seeking a Field Service Engineer to deliver expert repair services for our technology solutions. You will maintain customer equipment fleets, perform on-site repairs, and conduct preventative maintenance across the US region from Waterbury, CT.

This role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and ongoing process improvement. You will report to the Customer Support Manager, travel extensively to customer sites, and document all work with company-provided tools.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years of experience as an industrial related field service mechanic.
• Electromechanical degree or training.
• Experience with electrical, hydraulics and/or pneumatics.
• Proficient in English; another language is a bonus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in industrial environments with temperature extremes.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Customer Support Manager.
• Maintain fleet in the field.
• Repair down equipment in the field and at customer locations.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment throughout the territory.
• Develop and optimize efficient processes and routines.
• Improve measurables to meet business targets.
• Document all work daily using company hardware and software.
