Job summary

Edwards Vacuum is seeking an Onsite Service Engineer to deliver expert repair services at customer sites in San Jose, CA. You will inspect, troubleshoot, install, and document activities while ensuring safety and minimizing downtime.

You will report to the Site Manager, engage with customers to address needs, and share technical knowledge with teammates. A High School diploma and 1–3 years in a technical field are preferred, with good English communication essential.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of equivalent experience in relevant technical field such as electronic, mechanical, chemical, gas, refrigeration, or basic vacuum.
• Ideally, with customer facing experience.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Report into the Site Manager.
• Conduct planned and ad hoc visits to inspect, service, troubleshoot, and repair various technical systems and diagnose issues to prevent downtime.
• Perform installations, ensure safety compliance, and document activities.
• Be the on-site contact, providing service recommendations and addressing customer needs promptly.
