Job summary

Edwards Vacuum is seeking an Onsite Service Engineer to provide expert repair services and ensure high customer satisfaction. You will perform inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on sophisticated systems, report findings, and maintain safety standards onsite.

The role requires 1-3 years of technical experience, strong English communication, and the ability to document activities and read technical drawings.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of equivalent experience in relevant technical field such as electronic, mechanical, chemical, gas, refrigeration, or basic vacuum.
• Customer facing experience preferred.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Able to use computer software to record data and write reports.
• Able to read and interpret technical documentation and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Report into the Site Manager.
• Conduct planned and ad hoc visits to inspect, service, troubleshoot, and repair various technical systems; diagnose issues to prevent downtime.
• Perform installations, ensure safety compliance, and document activities.
• Be the on-site contact, providing service recommendations and addressing customer needs promptly.
