A leading scientific instruments company seeks a Field Service Engineer to install and maintain advanced microscopy systems across the Americas. You will troubleshoot technical issues onsite and remotely while fostering strong customer relationships. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, 3–5 years of field service experience with microscopy, and the ability to travel frequently. Compensation ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 based on experience and qualifications.
Qualifications
3–5 years of field service experience with microscopy or analytical instruments.
Physically capable of working in tight spaces and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Valid driver’s license and passport, willingness to travel.
Responsibilities
Install and commission advanced microscopy platforms.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
Troubleshoot hardware/software issues on-site or remotely.
Build strong customer relationships and provide training.
Calibrate components and implement performance enhancements.
