Job summary

Lynn Rodens is seeking a Senior Field Service Engineer to install, troubleshoot, and maintain advanced electron microscopy and analytical instrumentation across the Western U.S.

You will be a senior technical resource, working with global support teams, and travel Monday–Thursday with Fridays for documentation and home-office work. The company emphasizes extensive classroom and factory training and career development.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent technical education.
• 5+ years servicing complex capital equipment or scientific instrumentation.
• Expert electromechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Strong customer-facing communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Experience with electron microscopy, SEM, FIB/DualBeam, MicroCT, medical imaging, laboratory instrumentation, high-vacuum systems, or other high-end analytical equipment.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, upgrade, and maintain sophisticated instrumentation.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers and coordinate with support teams.
• Travel extensively within the Western U.S. and document work efficiently.
