Job summary

Waters is seeking a Field Service Engineer based in Northern Indiana/Southern Michigan to travel to customer sites and service analytical instrumentation. The role requires installation, repair, and preventive maintenance, following GMP/ISO standards and documenting service activities.

You will manage parts inventory, travel expenses, and provide high-quality customer support across multiple locations. Candidates should have 3+ years of troubleshooting experience with diagnostic instrumentation,

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent.
3+ years troubleshooting instruments or components.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel 50%+.
Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 pounds.
Experience with medical instrumentation is a plus.

Responsibilities

Install and service instrumentation to ISO and GMP standards with thorough follow-up for customer satisfaction.
Maintain proper car stock, test equipment, tools and documentation; follow fleet policy.
Display time management and expense control within established guidelines.
Report quality control and technical problems to the Service Center and resolve issues promptly.
Represent BD by maintaining excellent customer relations and high standards of service.
