Job summary

EOS seeks an experienced Field Service Engineer to install, troubleshoot, and maintain customer equipment in the Southeast region. You will handle on-site installations, provide remote support when needed, and ensure equipment operates according to EOS specifications.

You will document field activities, manage service tools and spare parts, and coordinate with 2nd level support. Travel, including international travel, is required; a valid driver’s license and passport are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in servicing industrial equipment.
• Certified technician or skilled worker in electrical engineering technology.
• Solid background working on mechanical and pneumatic systems.
• Thorough product knowledge on industrial lasers and axis motion systems.
• Proficient with written, oral, schematic and diagram engineering instructions.
• Computer skills: PC-configuration, MS-Windows, Network knowledge, MS-Office.
• Availability to work irregular shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
• Professional appearance and conduct, with good communication skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively, including international travel.
• Valid driver’s license and passport.

Responsibilities

• Install equipment at customer site to ensure full functionality per EOS specifications.
• Provide on-site technical/remote assistance to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance procedures within schedule.
• Submit service documentation accurately per EOS guidelines.
• Assist in training, documentation, and exhibition installations.
• Collaborate with 2nd Level Support to maintain local install base to standards.
• Maintain service records and field service reports.
• Manage EOS service tools and spare parts inventory.
