Job summary

EOS is seeking a Field Service Engineer to deliver on-site installations, maintenance, and service for metal additive manufacturing equipment. You will troubleshoot and repair systems, perform preventive maintenance, and work with global teams to ensure the highest customer satisfaction.

The role requires 2–3 years of field service experience, knowledge of industrial lasers and axis motion systems, and willingness to travel extensively, including international trips.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in servicing industrial equipment.
• Certified technician or skilled worker in electrical engineering technology.
• Experience in additive manufacturing data preparation using MAGICS and/or SolidWorks.
• Thorough product knowledge on industrial lasers and axis motion systems.
• Skilled in reading and following engineering instructions.

Responsibilities

• Install equipment at customer facilities and ensure full functionality per EOS specs.
• Provide on-site technical or remote assistance to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance within scheduled time frames.
• Submit all service documentation accurately per EOS guidelines.
• Assist in training, documentation, and exhibition installations.
