Job summary

Roche is seeking a field-based technical service professional to repair and service Roche diagnostics equipment in the Augusta, GA area. You will diagnose and repair mechanical, hardware, software, and networking issues, perform preventative maintenance, and serve as the primary technical contact for customers in your territory.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in electronics and electro-mechanical systems, with 5 years of related experience or a relevant engineering degree plus 1–2

Qualifications

High school diploma and 2 years of technical training or equivalent.
5 years of progressive experience repairing or servicing hardware/software, or Bachelor's +1-2 years.
Successfully training or certification as defined by RD Services Leadership and policy.
Ability to travel, including some overnight travel, is required.

Responsibilities

Repair Roche product lines on-site and in-house.
Provide routine technical support to laboratory customers.
Perform on-site service and preventative maintenance.
Diagnose mechanical, hardware, software, and network issues.
Document activities and contribute to quality improvement.
Maintain strong customer relationships and satisfaction.
