Job summary

Roche in the United States seeks a Field Engineering Specialist to travel in an assigned territory, installing and repairing Roche product lines and providing valued service to laboratory customers on-site.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of field service or related technical experience, strong electronics knowledge, and willingness for overnight travel. A high school diploma and technical training are required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

Requires high school diploma and 2 years of technical school or equivalent military training or work experience.
5+ years of progressive experience in repairing or servicing mechanical/system hardware and software, or networking/wireless networking.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 1-2 years of progressive experience may suffice.

Responsibilities

Traveling 100% in assigned territory to service Roche product lines.
Perform on-site repair and/or installation of company products for clinical chemistry, immunoassay, and lab automation.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware/software issues and document activities per quality procedures.
