Job summary

Roche Support Network is seeking a Field Engineering Specialist to travel and provide on-site repair and installation for Roche product lines at laboratory customers in the assigned territory. You will diagnose and repair mechanical, hardware, software and system failures, perform preventative maintenance, and document all activities to support continuous quality improvement.

The role is field-based with daily travel and up to 10% overnight travel; the ideal candidate lives in Southern

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with technical training preferred.
• 5 years of progressive experience in repairing/mechanical hardware or networking, or a Bachelor's degree with 1-2 years.
• Ability to travel including overnight travel; willingness to serve as a technical resource.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to repair, install and service Roche products in the lab environment.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hardware, software and system failures; perform preventative maintenance.
• Document activities and contribute to quality improvement; provide after-hours/weekend support as needed.
