Job summary
Roche Support Network is seeking a Field Engineering Specialist to travel within an assigned territory and perform on-site repair and installation of Roche product lines. You will serve as a technical resource for clinical chemistry, immunoassay and lab automation systems, diagnosing issues and delivering service with quality and professionalism.

Qualifications
- High school diploma and 2 years of technical school or equivalent military training or work experience are required.
- 5 years of progressive experience in repairing or servicing mechanical/system hardware and software, or networking/wireless networking is necessary.
- Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 1-2 years of progressive experience will suffice.
- Successful completion of training or certification as defined by RD Services Leadership and policy is mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Travel in assigned territory; provide on-site repair and installation support for Roche products.
- Repair or installation specialist for Roche products in Clinical chemistry, Immunoassay and lab automation.
- Provide routine technical support on operational and maintenance aspects of system equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical, hardware, software and system failures and determine cost-effective repairs.
- Document activity in accordance with quality procedures and maintain customer relationships.
