Job summary

JR Automation, a Hitachi Group Company, is seeking a Field Service Engineer III to diagnose, troubleshoot, repair and maintain robotic automation systems for customers remotely and on-site. Travel up to 80% locally and internationally is required, with strong emphasis on customer service and documentation.

You will install hardware, perform testing and training at client facilities, and help create guides for recurring issues while leveraging schematics, HMIs, PLCs and blueprints.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of relevant experience.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting aptitude.
• Experience with HMI, PLC, robots and AutoCAD preferred.
• Design, develop, and maintain complex systems and applications.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair and maintain robotic automation systems.
• Travel domestically and internationally up to 80%.
• Document customer issues and follow up with stakeholders.
• Assist with on-site hardware installations and training.
• Develop support guides for recurrent issues.
