Job summary

HighRes is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HighRes devices at customer sites. You will deploy robotic systems, provide rapid support, and document case details.

Collaboration with Automation Support Engineers and ongoing training for junior staff are core parts of the role. The position requires travel to customer sites, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to customer success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years direct field service or customer-facing support experience.
• Experience in laboratory or industrial automation products, robotics, or instrumentation helpful.
• Ability to travel weekly to customer sites (40-80% depending on level).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HighRes devices, systems, and automation platforms.
• Deploy and calibrate robotic systems at customer sites.
• Provide rapid response to customer support requests and triage issues.
• Document support cases accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with Automation Support Engineers and operations teams for upgrades and relocations.
• Train customers on device operation and basic software usage.
• Mentor junior Field Service Engineers and support training programs.
• Maintain field service spares and inventory.
• Travel to customer sites and coordinate with third-party vendors as needed.
