Job summary

JR Automation, a Hitachi Group Company, is seeking a Field Service Engineer III in Holland, Michigan. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain robotic automation systems and peripherals for customers on-site and remotely, with up to 80% travel.

You will support hardware installations, maintenance, testing, and client training, while crafting support guides for recurring issues. Strong electrical/mechanical skills, schematics, PLCs, HMIs, and autonomy are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with relevant experience.
• 6-8 years of relevant experience in engineering & service.
• Experience with HMI, PLCs, robots and AutoCAD preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain robotic automation systems and peripherals on-site or remotely.
• Document customer issues and ensure timely resolution with strong customer service.
• Travel domestically and internationally up to 80% and assist with installations and training.
