Job summary

Boston Scientific is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, and service medical systems and devices across a multi-state Northeast territory. You will work independently in customers’ facilities, with strong collaboration from senior team members as needed.

Responsibilities include hands-on service, training clinicians, and handling field escalations. The role emphasizes travel, customer focus, and regulatory compliance while supporting diverse cardiovascular products.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience with an Associate’s degree or technical diploma in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field.
• Equivalent combinations may include BMET certification or military technical training with hands-on experience.
• 1 year travel experience to customer or field sites required.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site service including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, and repair of medical systems and equipment.
• Train medical staff on equipment use and safety protocols.
• Deliver technical support for field escalations and warranty inquiries.
• Manage routine and emergency service requests within your territory.
• Document service events and updates using internal tools.
• Adhere to SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in projects or cross-functional tasks as needed.
• Maintain communication with teams and leadership on priorities.
