Job summary

Boston Scientific is seeking a Field Service Engineer II to support the Northeast region, reside in Indiana or Ohio, and travel extensively to customer sites. The role is field-based with relocation assistance and home-based work when not traveling.

You will install, service, and train on cardiovascular devices, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and maintain high customer satisfaction across a broad US territory.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical diploma in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field.
• BMET certification or equivalent training is a plus.
• 1+ year field service or related technical experience; travel-ready.
• Strong understanding of electronic systems and troubleshooting ability.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with a customer-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site service including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, and repair of medical systems and equipment.
• Train medical staff on equipment use, safety, and basic troubleshooting.
• Offer technical support for field escalations, warranty inquiries, and customer concerns.
• Manage routine and emergency service requests within the assigned territory.
• Document service events and updates using internal tools.
• Adhere to SOPs, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in projects, event support, or cross-functional tasks as needed.
• Maintain clear communication with internal teams, customers, and leadership.
