Job summary

Boston Scientific is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, service, and repair medical systems across assigned territories. You will train clinical staff, handle escalations, and ensure high-quality service in collaboration with healthcare providers.

The role emphasizes independence with support from senior team members, remote field work, and frequent travel to customer sites within your territory.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience with an Associate’s degree or technical diploma in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field.
• Willingness to travel to customer/field sites (approximately 75%).
• Strong understanding of electronic systems including analog and digital circuitry.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site service including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, and repair of medical systems and equipment.
• Train medical staff on equipment use, safety protocols, and basic troubleshooting.
• Deliver technical support for field escalations, warranty inquiries, and customer concerns.
• Manage routine and emergency service requests in the assigned territory.
• Document service events, updates, and complaints using internal tools.
• Follow SOPs, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in projects, event support, or cross-functional tasks as needed.
• Maintain clear communication with internal teams, customers, and leadership.
