Job summary

The Field Support Engineer II at ZEISS Group in the United States supports Carl Zeiss Meditec instruments in a designated field service territory. You will install, repair, upgrade and perform preventative maintenance, representing ZEISS at customer sites and ensuring high customer satisfaction.

You’ll manage company property and communicate professionally with teams, customers, management, Sales and Technical Support.

Qualifications

• Three years of related experience in Electronics, Fine Mechanics, Optics or Medical Field Service.
• BS in Electronics, Engineering, or Computer Technology preferred.
• A+ and Net+ certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and maintenance of designated Zeiss Meditec instruments.
• Schedule and coordinate customer visits with attention to patient care impact.
• Complete and submit field service reports and expense reports.
• Maintain spare parts inventory according to policy and promote service agreements.
• Interface with customers professionally and maintain company assets.
