Job summary

Murata Machinery Group in the United States seeks a Field Service Technician to install, service, and upgrade Murata Machine Tools at customer sites. You will train customer personnel, troubleshoot CNC, hydraulic, and electronic systems, and support sales with tooling recommendations.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or engineering-related education preferred.
• Technical school or military certification acceptable.
• 4–8 years of machine tools maintenance or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Install and demonstrate Murata Machine Tools at customer sites.
• Diagnose and repair basic electrical/electronic, mechanical, or hydraulic issues.
• Cross-train on maintenance of mechanical, electrical and electronic systems.
• Assist sales with machine applications, tooling, and estimating.
• Prepare service time and expense reports promptly.
