Job summary

Murata Machine Tools seeks a Field Service Engineer to install, service, and train customers on machining systems across the United States. You will diagnose electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues and assist with programming and operation.

Requires an associate degree or technical certification, 4–8 years in machine tools maintenance, and willingness to travel up to 95%. Strong problem solving, customer focus, and safety awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification required or preferred.
• Minimum 4–8 years of machine tools maintenance or related experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 95% (domestic and international).
• Knowledge of CNC equipment (FANUC a plus) and tooling experience.

Responsibilities

• Install Murata Machine Tools products at customer sites, including setup and programming assistance.
• Perform service and repair during warranty and post-warranty periods.
• Provide training to customer personnel and assist in selecting tools and parts.
• Prepare and submit service reports and travel time accurately.
