Job summary

Intuitive is seeking a Field Service Engineer 2 in the Kansas City area to install, support, and maintain our products. You will ensure service agreements and warranties are met, while delivering outstanding customer experiences in hospitals and facilities.

You will troubleshoot electro-mechanical systems, perform preventive maintenance, software updates, and coordinate deliveries and installations, reporting activities and maintaining records for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience with electro-mechanical systems and specialized training.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to accurately document service activities and reports.

Responsibilities

• Understand and comply with all department and company policies
• Provide quarterly review and assessment of assigned area
• Proficiency in documenting service activities, maintaining records, and reporting to stakeholders
• Complete all administrative tasks in required time frame
• Provide technical support to end-users and Intuitive employees
• Conduct trainings at Intuitive facilities, training centers, and hospitals
• Perform scheduled maintenance activities: inspections, preventive maintenance, updates, recalls, field actions, upgrades
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Intuitive products and equipment per procedures
• Coordinate and perform system and hardware delivery and installation
• Maintain HIPAA and OR protocol knowledge
• Complete administrative duties (spare parts inventory, reports, etc.) within timeframes
• Maintain company assets (tools, vehicles, laptops, etc.)
• Support sales and Genesis teams with various tasks
• Provide feedback to HQ and participate in continuous improvement projects
• Complete training including Intuitive products and university courses
• Manage all aspects of assigned area, respond to customer needs, maintain install base configurations
