Job summary

Carl Zeiss Meditec USA, Inc. seeks a Field Service Engineer II to install, repair, and maintain instrumentation in a designated territory. You’ll represent the company at customer sites and ensure equipment readiness and accurate documentation.

The role requires travel, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with limited supervision. A valid driver’s license and physical capability for lifting up to 50 pounds are needed.

Qualifications

• BS in Electronics, Engineering, or Computer Technology required or preferred.
• A+ and Net+ certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, upgrade and perform preventative maintenance on specified Carl Zeiss Meditec instrumentation in a designated field service territory.
• Represent Carl Zeiss Meditec at customer locations and strive for high customer satisfaction.
• Manage company property, inventory, tools, diagnostics equipment, and vehicle per policy.
• Maintain professional communication with team, customers, management, Sales and Technical Support.
