Job summary

SCIEX, a Danaher operating company, is hiring a Field Service Engineer I to install, maintain and repair mass spectrometry and related instruments at customer sites across the Midwest. The role covers remote work with up to 50% travel and entails mentoring junior technicians and handling administrative duties. Qualifications include an A.S./A.A.S.

or B.S./B.A. in Life Sciences or engineering, plus LCMS or capillary electrophoresis experience and vendor credentialing.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• LCMS and/or capillary electrophoresis experience; servicing MS or scientific instrumentation.
• Meet Vendor Credentialing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair instrumentation at internal and external sites.
• Provide guidance and mentor less experienced staff.
• Complete service administration including logging activities and reporting.
