Job summary

Durst Image Technology US is seeking a Field Service Engineer in Los Angeles to install, train and support Durst products across the region. You will work with customers to ensure high uptime, perform repairs, and manage parts and travel efficiently.

The role requires mechanical skills, strong communication, and a willingness to travel up to 75% across USA & Canada, including overnight trips. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with associates degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in printing or related industry.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and good dexterity.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time, including overnight travel in USA & Canada.
• Valid driver's license.
• English proficiency.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and handle parts weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Install Durst products and services in a timely, cost-effective manner.
• Provide operator and maintenance training as required.
• Maximize equipment uptime through rapid, effective repair and maintenance.
• Efficiently manage parts, tools, travel and other resources to meet financial targets.
• Maintain professional communication with customers, sales and service teams.
• Complete all job-related administration accurately and on time.
