Job summary

SCIEX, a Danaher operating company, is hiring a Field Service Engineer to install, repair, and service mass spectrometry and related instrumentation at customer sites. You will work with internal and external customers, travel up to 50% and mentor less experienced staff.

The role requires LCMS experience and a relevant degree, with vendor credentialing and a willingness to travel domestically. Remote work options are available for eligible roles within the DC metro area.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering or equivalent (e.g., military electronics/avionics).
• Experience with LCMS or capillary electrophoresis and servicing mass spec instrumentation required.
• Meet vendor credentialing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain mass spectrometry and related instrumentation at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide on-site or remote support; mentor junior staff.
