Job summary

SCIEX, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Field Service Engineer to install, repair and maintain mass spectrometers, HPLC and capillary electrophoresis instruments at internal and external customer sites, including strategic accounts. You will travel up to 50% and may cover North Carolina and surrounding region.

You will mentor less experienced staff and handle administrative tasks such as logging service activities and inventory management.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• LCMS and/or capillary electrophoresis experience is required.
• Meet Vendor Credentialing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain mass spectrometers, HPLC and/or capillary electrophoresis instrumentation.
• Provide customer training and ensure satisfaction at strategic accounts.
• Complete administration duties (logging service activities, expense reporting, inventory).
