SCIEX, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, and repair instrumentation at customer sites. This role covers the greater Kansas City area, with up to 50% travel and remote work flexibility where eligible.

You will troubleshoot LCMS and capillary electrophoresis systems, complete training for customers, and mentor junior engineers. A life sciences or engineering degree is required, and vendor credentials may be needed.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience with LCMS and/or capillary electrophoresis instrumentation.
• Willingness to meet vendor credentialing requirements.

Responsabilités

• Install, maintain, and repair mass spectrometry and related instruments at customer sites.
• Perform service qualifications and customer training; ensure customer satisfaction at strategic accounts.
• Complete administrative duties such as logging service activities and inventory.
• Mentor and develop less experienced staff members.
