Job summary

CBT Cincinnati is seeking a Field Service Specialist to provide high-quality troubleshooting support for controls, electrical, and mechanical systems at customer sites. The role emphasizes maintaining platform knowledge and staying current with automation technology while collaborating with the sales team on opportunities.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of hands-on experience with Rockwell PLCs, HMIs, and drives, plus strong verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in providing service and support of Rockwell Automation PLCs, HMIs, and drives.
• Experience in industrial networking and electrical or mechanical troubleshooting.
• Strong technical background and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality troubleshooting support to customers in controls, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Maintain a high level of platform knowledge to provide credibility to customers.
• Maintain knowledge on automation technology.
• Work closely with the sales team/Automation Specialist on pursuing opportunities.
• Communicate project status to the customer, sales team, and SBU Manager for all activities.
