Job summary

CECO Environmental, a global leader in sustainable industrial solutions, seeks a Field Service Specialist to deliver on-site technical support for CECO Industrial Solutions. Responsibilities include installation, start-up, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in field service, strong PLC/HMI experience (Allen-Bradley), and proficiency with CAD and ERP/MRP tools.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Field Services Specialist or Technician.
Engineering and/or electronics experience, or equivalent work experience, training, or education; Degree preferred.
Valid in-state driver’s license and driving record meeting company standards.
Ability to read/interpret technical documentation, CAD drawings, and specifications.
Ability to modify PLC/HMI programming, primarily Allen Bradley.
Knowledge of MS Office and exposure to MRP/ERP systems.
Knowledge of process instrumentation: pressure, flow, temp transmitters, actuators, and calibration.
Knowledge of Field Service management tools/software.
Knowledge of continuous emissions monitoring equipment.
Knowledge of handling hazardous chemicals safely.
Knowledge of rotating equipment: dampers, actuators, controls, seal air fans.

Responsibilities

Executes field services processes and procedures on-site.
conducts installation, start-up, commissioning, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Ensures projects meet budget and deadline and customer needs.
Maintains positive interdepartmental communication to support planning and budgets.
Communicates with customers and team to build trust and resolve issues.
Maintains confidentiality of company information and practices.
Manages time and tracks schedules and deadlines.
Adheres to safety policies; pursues zero-accident culture.
Prepares daily/weekly/monthly reports and general correspondence.
Ensures compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Performs other duties of a similar nature as assigned.
