Job summary

Nbutexas is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and support custom industrial equipment at customer facilities in Dayton, OH. This role requires a strong electrical and mechanical background and the ability to diagnose problems on site.

Travel to customer sites, read schematics, troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems, perform startup and commissioning, and communicate clearly with customers to ensure optimal operation of machinery.

Qualifications

• Experience as Field Service Technician or similar.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• Experience with PLC-controlled equipment.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting.
• Willingness to travel to customer facilities.
• Valid driver's license.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer facilities to troubleshoot, repair, and service industrial equipment
• Diagnose electrical, controls, and mechanical problems
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled machinery and industrial automation systems
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings
• Identify root causes of equipment failures and determine appropriate repairs
• Perform equipment startup, installation, testing, and commissioning
• Document service work and maintain accurate service records
