Job summary

Packsize, a fast-growth multinational tech company headquartered in Salt Lake City, seeks a Field Service Engineer to install, configure and maintain packaging systems at customer facilities across the US. You will perform start-up testing, provide customer training and resolve complex mechanical/electrical issues with a hands-on, problem-solving approach.

The role requires a Bachelor degree or technical education (or 3+ years in electro-mechanical troubleshooting), strong communication skills,

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or technical education OR minimum 3 years experience troubleshooting electrical/mechanical equipment.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with a customer-first mindset.
• Read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Execute defined service and installation calls at assigned customers to achieve goals.
• Provide on-site installation, validation and commissioning of packaging systems.
• Perform hands-on troubleshooting, service, and repairs including upgrades.
• Deliver on-site training and support customer project management.
