Job summary

Eaton’s Electrical Engineering Services and Systems offers a structured development program for new engineers in the United States. You will work on electrical power distribution projects, deliver technical solutions, and gain hands-on experience across customer environments.

The program provides a training curriculum, mentorship, and broad exposure to power systems, with opportunities to advance technically and into leadership roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution with graduation date before August 2027.
• Minimum overall GPA 2.8.
• Internship/co-op or 3 months technician/maintenance experience with machines/vehicles.
• Geographic relocation within the United States.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Work on assigned projects for electrical power distribution equipment.
• Deliver technical solutions to customers.
• Perform complex engineering assignments including design, testing, or process studies.
• Demonstrate proficiency in test equipment operation, troubleshooting, protective relays, power quality, and control design.
• Generate timely service reports on work, product performance, and warranties.
