Job summary

Eaton is offering an Electrical Field Service Engineer development program in the United States. Engineers will work on electrical power distribution equipment, deliver technical solutions to customers, and perform diverse engineering tasks across multiple sites.

Participants will gain hands‑on experience in power distribution, testing, and service reports while advancing toward technical and leadership roles within Eaton’s global service organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering with graduation date before August of 2027.
• Minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.8.
• Minimum of internship/co‑op experience or 3 months in a technician/maintenance role on machines.
• Sponsorship not offered for CPT/OPT/STEM OPT or equivalent.
• Must relocate within the United States and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Work on assigned projects for electrical power distribution equipment.
• Deliver technical solutions to customers.
• Perform complex engineering assignments including design, testing, or studies.
• Demonstrate proficiency in test equipment operation, troubleshooting, protective relays, power quality measurements, disaster recovery, rotating machinery, and protection & control design.
• Generate timely and accurate service reports on work, product performance and warranties.
