Employee Workplace in Wisconsin is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support digital printing equipment in the Black River Falls area. The role involves hands-on service, on-site and remote troubleshooting, and helping customers maximize equipment performance.

Responsibilities include installation, diagnostics, maintenance, operator training, and collaboration with internal teams to ensure successful implementations. Travel to customer sites is required.

Qualifications

• Technical degree in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering required.
• 3+ years of field service or equipment maintenance experience.
• Strong troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, and software systems.
• Experience reading electrical circuits and using diagnostic tools.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• Experience with digital printing equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission digital printing equipment at customer locations.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, software, and print quality issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance, calibrations, and equipment upgrades.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support.
• Train operators on equipment operation, maintenance, workflow, and troubleshooting.
• Coach customers during production ramp-up and startup phases.
• Document service activities and maintain reports.
• Partner with internal teams to ensure successful customer implementation.
