Job summary

Roche is seeking a Field Engineering Specialist to perform on-site service, repair and installation of Roche products. The role involves daily travel within the assigned territory and overnight trips as needed.

You will diagnose mechanical, hardware and software failures, document activities, and focus on quality and customer satisfaction. The candidate should have a technical background and willingness to travel; relocation is not offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 2 years of technical school or equivalent military training or work experience.
• 5 years of progressive experience in repairing or servicing mechanical/system hardware and software, or networking/wireless networking.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 1-2 years progressive experience acceptable.
• Successful completion of RD Services Leadership training/certification is mandatory.
• Ability to travel, including overnight travel, is required.

Responsibilities

• Travel within assigned territory to provide on-site service, repair and installation of Roche products.
• Serve as a customer contact for technical and service-related issues; diagnose and resolve failures.
• Document all service activities and contribute to quality improvements and customer satisfaction.
• Routinely perform preventative maintenance and support after-hours as needed.
